Questions
Questions we get most
How much does rodent control cost?
It depends on how many gaps we find, how hard they are to reach and whether the attic or crawl space needs cleaning. You get the number in writing after the inspection and before any work. The pricing page explains the pieces.
Why seal before trapping?
Trapping alone catches the mice that are inside while the gaps stay open. New mice come in to replace them. Sealing first closes the way in, so the traps have fewer mice to catch.
How long until the noises stop?
Most homes are quieter within a week or two of the first trapping visit, though it varies with how many mice there are and how many gaps were open.
Do you use poison?
Indoors we reach for snap traps in covered stations first. Where bait is needed it goes in locked stations, and we tell you where each one is and what is in it. Ask for our product list.
Is it okay with kids and pets?
We tell you where traps and stations go and which rooms to keep children and pets out of while they are set. Stations are covered or locked. Tell us about your household before the visit.
Do I need to be home?
For the inspection, an adult needs to let us into the basement, attic and crawl space. Exterior sealing doesn't need anyone home.
What if they come back?
Call us. A check visit after the first trapping is part of the job, and if a gap we sealed has opened we come back to it. The written estimate lists the terms.
Do you clean up droppings and insulation?
Yes. We vacuum and bag droppings in the area we worked, in respirators, and we can replace insulation that mice have matted. It is priced as its own line on the estimate.
Do you take squirrels, raccoons or bats?
No. That is wildlife work with its own state rules. We handle mice and rats.
Where do you go?
Minneapolis and the metro towns listed on the home page. Text your address if you're near a line.
Still not sure?
Text us a photo of the gap or the droppings
We answer texts daily until 9 p.m. A photo with a coin beside it for size helps most.
